Please follow these instructions carefully to be considered as a house sitter for Occupied House Sitters:
PLEASE NOTE: THAT WE ONLY NEED MORE SITTERS FOR DECEMBER AND JANUARY holidays, during the rest of the year we have enough sitters for the amount of bookings we receive.
WE ALWAYS NEED MORE RETIRED PEOPLE TO HOUSE SIT AND PET SIT THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
OR SITTERS WHO WORK FROM HOME AND CAN BE AT THE CLIENT'S HOME ALL DAY AND NIGHT, WITH YOUR OWN LAPTOP AND OWN INTERNET CONNECTION (you will not be allowed to use the client's telephone/internet).
1. Read our House Sitter Terms and Conditions in Menu before applying. If you are still interested you can send your CV and state in your e-mail that you agree with the terms and conditions.
You have to love animals, be a non-smoker and have your own transport.
Unfortunately only people over 23 years old will be accepted.
2. List ALL areas that you are available to house sit in. I do a search for a specific area - and if you haven't listed that area (correctly spelled), your name will not show up in search results and therefore I would not be able to use you in that specific area.
3. State if you are available the whole December and beginning of January.
4. Attach a recent head and shoulders digital photo of yourself. Scanned photo's are not good enough quality.
You will have to go for an interview to the Representative nearest to you, we will contact you with instructions if we decide to interview you. An admin fee of R50 will be payable before the interview will commence.
Pensioners* will be interviewed at no cost. (*Proof will be required)
Please note: We require that you apply for a clearance certificate at a police station after we accepted your application – it proves that you have no criminal record.
E-mail the above to bookings @ occupied.co.za (remove spaces - it's only there to prevent SPAM)
Only applications with ALL information as requested, will be considered.
Please note that if you don't hear from us, we are not looking for sitters at the moment, we may contact you another time when we do need more sitters.
